NEW YEAR'S EVE in WILLIAMSTON
Start the New Year right by ringing it in at the Williamston Theatre. On New Year's Eve, the Williamston Theatre stage will sizzle with Lansing's finest jazz musicians in The Patrick Terbrack Quintet featuring: Patrick Terbrack on alto sax, Cory Fritz on trombone, Wellerm Delisfort on piano, Andrew Klein on bass, Andrew Hare on drums and vocalist Ashton Moore. There will be two performances:
Monday, December 31 at 6pm ~ $30
Monday, December 31 at 9:30pm ~ $75, includes an After Glow with the musicians at the Red Cedar Grill in downtown Williamston with hors d'oeuvres buffet and two drink tickets.

DOWNTOWN JACKSON WILL BRING IN 2008 WITH A BANG THIS YEAR.
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is pleased to announce the 8th annual Eve on the Ave celebration. Festivities start at 11 pm and include party favors for the crowd, DJ hosted music, a countdown to midnight and a spectacular fireworks display. The ideal gathering place is in front of City Hall with the celebration lasting until 12:30 am.
This event is free, family friendly and complements many other New Year's celebrations, dinners and special events taking place at various downtown locations. Many downtown restaurants still have reservations available, so make plans today to join the festivities this year.

Two Great Bands will be Featured: Root Doctor and The SeaCruisers!
Though it may be cold outside, it will be a sizzling hot night of ushering in the New Year, when Root Doctor and The Sea Cruisers both perform at the Cadillac Club's New Years Eve Extravaganza. Both bands, back this New Years Eve by popular demand, are local favorites and deliver great whows!
Root Doctor, a local blues sensation, has gained recognition and popularity across the country with the recent studio release of their latest CD, Been A Long Time Coming. With highly favorable reviews in NYC's Elmore Magazine, Living Blues Magazine, and Big City Blues, Root Doctor is creating a nationwide stir. They have shared stages over the past year with major National acts such as the Pointer Sisters, Taj Majal, and .38 Special to name a few. Now they have just released their latest CD, "Change Our Ways", which will surely prove to be as dynamic and popular as the former. Their performance at the Cadillac Club's New Years Eve Party will make for a night to remember! Lead singer, Freddie Cunningham, brings a rich, "aged to perfection" vocal quality to the stage. Greg Nagy brings sophisticated and polished guitar riffs galore, with Jim Alfredson burning up the keys, and Rick Bole artfully carrying the beat…This band Rocks! The band is tight, accomplished, and undoubtedly Lansing's Premier Blues Band!
The SeaCruisers offer a fun musical selection of great oldies. They will take guests on a New Years Eve romp through the ages with their classic songs and stylish delivery. Always enjoyable, always a delight…The SeaCruisers are a sure bet to add the exclamation point on a fantastic New Years Eve!
The Doors Open at 8:15 pm and guests will enjoy the Fantastic Cadillac Club Vegas-Style Buffet until 11pm. Root Doctor will perform in the DeVille Banquet and Concert Hall at 10pm, and The Sea Cruisers will take the Main Dining Room Stage starting at 9:30 offering guests a great chance to dance on both dance floors! Tickets are $60 per person, all seats are reserved. Purchase tickets early for best seating selection. Shuttle parking service is available. Also an Early Bird "Buffet Only" dinner option is available from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. ($19.95) This early buffet will feature many delights, including Alaskan Snow Crab! Reserve Now!
